Chapter 1 Part 1
Talk about yourself by answering the following questions. (2 minutes)
• Where are you from? What do you do ?/What’s your job?
• What’s your hobby? What’s your family like? What’s your daily schedule? etc.
Chapter 1 Part 2
Role Play: In pairs, work out an orientation. (5 minutes)
Role A: Imagine you work for the HR department (人事部门). Give an orientation to the new employee (your partner: Role B) about the company or organization you work for.
Role B: Imagine you’re one of the new employees. Listen to what A says about the company and ask questions when necessary.
Chapter 2 Part 1 Topic
In pairs, talk about the vacations you’ve had or your future vacation plans. Ask questions such as the following. (3 minutes)
• Where would you go?
• When would you like to go there?
• Who would you like to go with?
• What would you do there?
Chapter 2 Part 2 Topic
In this part, you learnt how to talk about an unusual but exciting experience in nature. Now tell a true experience you had in nature. (2 minutes)
You need to include SIX elements — Who, When, Where, What, Why and How in your story.
